Thank you for considering the Bittersweet Event Center for your next holiday party.  We have several private rooms accommodating from 20 – 800 guests.  Our facility is beautifully decorated for the holidays, including thousands of lights, garland and trees.  Each room is free (no rent) and comes equipped with a full-service bar, including bartenders, white linen covered tables, large dance floors and restrooms. 

 

Our attention to every detail is what makes us stand out – our experienced and courteous staff will work hard to meet your every requirement.

We can assist you in virtually every aspect of your event – from food to beverage to entertainment!  Whether you prefer a more basic menu such as our famous Broasted Chicken and Roast Beef or a more elegant meal selection such as our wonderful Beef Tenderloin Roulade or Bittersweet Grand Filet, our chef’s can develop an impressive and delightful menu that your guests will certainly enjoy! 

 

Appetizers are a wonderful addition to any party, from our popular chocolate fountain and all the dippin’ that goes with it to our fabulous selection of homemade appetizers!

 

And for beverage service – it’s entirely up to you!  A full selection of beverages will be available to your guests, you decide what types will be complimentary to your group.

 

We offer three different styles of menu service.  Plated, Buffet and family style.  Enclosed in this brochure are sample menu prices.  As you review this information, you may find that we haven’t listed the exact menu your looking for.  That’s okay! Just let us know and we will be happy to quote it for you.  Our chefs are always happy to accommodate custom requests including special dietary needs.

 

Remember to consider dessert options to complement your meal selection. As you can see from the menu below, we have many awesome dessert options are also available!

 

Sales tax and gratuity will be added to all fees and services.

 

Call us soon to book your date as we are taking bookings in 2007 and 2008! To book your room we will require a deposit (Grand ballroom $750, Garden Room $400, Entire Facility $1000).  The deposit is non-refundable but will apply to the bill at the end of the event.  The final bill will be presented at the end of the event and the terms are net 10.

Hors d’oeuvre Options

Hors d’oeuvres can be served to your guests prior to serving dinner or late in the evening.  All prices are per 50 pieces unless otherwise noted.  All of the hors d’oeuvres are offered in conjunction with a meal or as part of an hors d’oeuvres event.

Plated Menu Options

When selecting a plated meals, all tables will be set with place settings that include a water glass, coffee cup, silverware, and a linen napkin.  Dinner service includes a plated salad and homemade bread followed by the main entrée.  Water and coffee are served at the table.  A 20% gratuity will be added for this type of service.

 

We offer two types of plated options.  The first is where you include two types of meat both served in smaller portions on the same plate.  The second type of service is where you select two meals each with different meat.  You then let your guests select the meal they would like when they return their RSVP.

Single Entrée Plated Meals

Cornish Game Hen      $14.25

Whole Cornish game hen served on top of a bed of wild rice with fresh herbs.

Pesto Pasta      $12.75

Linguini with herb roasted Roma tomatoes and pesto finished with Parmesan Reggiano.

Tri-colored tortellini served with sautéed Proscuitto in a roasted red pepper and smoked Gouda cream sauce.

The per person prices listed below include one potato, one hot vegetable, 2 salads, homemade bread, butter, coffee at a coffee table, and water at the bar.  Additional potatoes, vegetables or salads can be added for $ .50 per person per item.  Our buffet prices include a full set up at the table for the wedding party and family (total count not to exceed 10% of guest count).  Dinner for this group is served family style at the table.   All of your guests are served on china dishware.   The tip rate for Buffet Style service is 12%.

Room Setup Guidelines

Candles must be covered by glass as high as the flame

No bubbles, koozies, confetti, glitter, silly string, or other projectable materials

No food can be carried in without prior approval!

 


Beverage Pricing

During a cash bar, beverages are sold on an individual cash basis.  During an open bar you select and pay for the certain beverages to be served to your guests.  A 15% gratuity and applicable taxes (6.25%) will be added to your account.

 Providing free beverages to your guests is a nice gesture.  To make sure you are kept aware of the beverage consumption during your event, we will discuss and set limits during the planning process.  Once that limit has been reached, you will be asked if you want to continue providing beverages to your guests or if you would like to switch to a cash bar.  We also offer flat fee pricing for the open bar.  The fee will be set based on what beverages are included and for the length of time they will be served.

For keg beer, it is not necessary for you to tell us ahead of time how many kegs you’ll need.  We will make sure we have plenty of beer on hand.  You only need to tell us that it is ok to continue tapping kegs.  This way, you only pay for the amount of beer that you actually need.
